Bill O'Reilly's 'Killing Kennedy' Will Be Made Into Movie By National Geographic

Bill O'Reilly's book "Killing Kennedy" will be made into a TV movie, multiple outlets reported on Thursday.

After the cable channel turned the Fox News host's previous book "Killing Lincoln" into a film, National Geographic announced that it will produce a two-hour movie based on "Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot."

The New York Times, who called the Fox News host "arguably the most popular history author in America," interviewed O'Reilly about the success of both "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Kennedy" last month. The Times reported:

In the 65 weeks since “Killing Lincoln” was released in fall 2011, Mr. O’Reilly has owned territory near the top of The New York Times’s best-seller list for hardcover nonfiction. It would have been an extraordinary run by itself, but in October he released “Killing Kennedy,” which has since sold about one million copies.

For the last full week of the year he snagged both the No. 1 and 2 spots on the list, a rare feat.

TVNewser reported that Ridley's Scott production company, Scott Free Productions, will begin work on the project in the Spring. The production company also produced the film version of "Killing Lincoln," which premiers on National Geographic in February.
