According to Deadline, O'Reilly and Hannity are expected to close their new multi-year, multimillion-dollar contracts early next week. Fox News later confirmed the news. The New York Times reported on Thursday that the deals will keep both men in their places through the 2016 election — meaning that they will both have hosted their shows for 20 years.
Both hosts have been with Fox News since the network's inception in 1996. O'Reilly's program, "The O'Reilly Factor," has led the network and cable news industry as the number one cable show on television for more than ten consecutive years. Hannity's program, "Hannity," follows O'Reilly's show as the number two cable show at the network and on cable TV.
Though O'Reilly's salary has never been confirmed, TV Guide estimated in August 2011 that he was one of the highest paid media figures, bringing in $11 million from the network.
