Bill O'Reilly Taking On 'War On Christmas' Again (VIDEO)

It Has Begun

It's that time of year again: Bill O'Reilly has started his annual fight against the so-called "War on Christmas."

"Over the years we have taken on the role of protecting the federal holiday of Christmas," O'Reilly began on Monday's "Talking Points Memo" segment. "As you know, there are some Americans who are offended by any reference to Jesus Christ."

He went on to lament the "Happy Holidays syndrome," which he blamed on "creeping secularism and pressure groups like the ACLU."

O'Reilly's "War on Christmas" coverage began like clockwork this week. It is a major cause for the Fox News host, who has been vocal about it in past years. Last year, he railed against the designation of a "holiday tree" in the Rhode Island Statehouse and got into a screaming match with an atheist about Christmas.
