Meet Bina 48, A Robot Created As A 'Technological Sketch' Of A Real Human Being

Perhaps you've heard of Watson, the IBM supercomputer that appeared as a contestant on "Jeopardy!" and beat legendary champion Ken Jennings. But if you want to see the literal face of the incredible developments in artificial intelligence, look no further than Bina 48. The robot, made up of a mostly lifelike head and shoulders, was created through the "uploading of information and memories and attitudes and beliefs of a single human being called Bina Rothblatt," according to Terasem Movement Foundation managing director Bruce Duncan.

In the video above, watch Duncan explain to HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd how Bina 48 came together and what happened when the real Bina met the computerized version.
