Blac Chyna Has No Time For Slut-Shaming Double Standards

"So what if I was a stripper?"

Blac Chyna is sick of the contradictions.

Chyna appears on the cover of the September 2016 issue of Paper magazine with an accompanying ethereal editorial spread that shows her draped in white lace and basked in light. It’s striking imagery for the former stripper who champions female empowerment and sexuality.

“Stripper, slut, ho, all these things people portray us as ― we wanted to start a movement, because we’re tired of this double standard where a guy can fuck ten bitches and he’s the man,” she told Paper of her Slutwalk movement with best friend Amber Rose. “A woman does it and she’s a ho, she’s a slut. We wanted to push the barrier,to own it. You can say mean things about me, but it doesn’t matter, we’re still gonna do us ... So what if I was a stripper?”

Today, the D.C. native is a successful businesswoman, a mother and engaged to Rob Kardashian. She hopes their new show, “Rob & Chyna,” portrays a side of her people may not know.

“I’m excited about fans getting to know me as a person and not as a thing or a face,” she said. “I’m funny and smart, and they’ll see me as a mom with several businesses just keeping everything together ... I hope when people think about Blac Chyna, they think of a mogul and entrepreneur, a mother and a badass bitch.”
