Now that you know how to spot the difference between blackberries and black raspberries, it's high time you pick up a quart or two of black raspberries and make delicious things with them. While black raspberries are nice au naturale, they are particularly good when cooked with sugar and other sweet ingredients.
One can never go wrong with black raspberry jam -- it's truly special stuff -- but these dark berries make great pies, cakes and cobblers too. (And yes, you can always replace them with blackberries in a pinch.)
