When you're battling that feeling of fullness and gassy discomfort, it might seem like the last thing you should do is add anything more to your system. But that's the very way you may be able to find relief, according to author Kris Carr.
Here's what Carr turns to whenever she feels bloated -- it's a simple juice recipe with five fresh ingredients, two of which are particularly powerful for addressing those stomach issues.
"You might be asking, 'What makes this juice so great for bloat?'" Carr poses. "Well, the dandelion and the parsley both act as diuretics."
The full recipe calls for: 2 chard leaves, 1 cucumber, 6 dandelion leaves, 1/8 cup of parsley and 2 cups of honeydew melon. Blend it all in a juicer and you're good to go.
