Nobel Winner Bob Dylan Once Made The Weirdest Christmas Video Ever

And it's a masterpiece.

This might be the most unusual chapter in the long and storied career of Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan.

In 2009, Dylan turned a classic Christmas song into a holiday music video so strange that it has to be considered a masterpiece.

Dylan, wearing a wig and a hat, sings a polka version of “It Must Be Santa” from his “Christmas In The Heart” album, as revelers around him sing, drink, dance and fight at a wild party.

The lyrics are mostly faithful to the 1960 original, except for when he starts naming U.S. presidents along with Santa’s reindeer.

Somehow, a 2013 poll of Rolling Stone readers named the tune one of Dylan’s 10 worst ― a judgment that seems more than a little harsh.

Check it out above and decide for yourself.
