BottleRock 2014: Small Review Huge Slideshow! Slideshow 1

Overall, BottleRock found success in their "anything you could possibly want" lineup and I'm looking forward to see how they further define their image in 2015. Check out my slideshow for day one below, and check out my second post which has a slideshow from day two!

BottleRock in just it's second year of production was the epitome of a melting pot music festival. Everything from 90's nostalgic rock, to country giants, to rap legends was at BottleRock 2014. Day one was a bit worrisome for the experimental music festival taking place in the heart of wine country. The crowds ranged from entire families to the festival die-hards. Robert Delong provided the mid-day dance party that every festival promises, but it was Delta Rae who made the crowds lose their minds. They may not offer you some cool indie rock that you can sway to in the crowd, but if you're looking to drop the ego and dance the night away I'd highly suggest checking them out. The Cure was the headliner for Friday night and you could tell that 90% of the crowd went Friday solely for the British rock legends.

Saturday could be one of the greatest throwback days for myself. Featuring Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, and Outkast I was in heaven. Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell even called out Stephan Jenkins (lead singer of Third Eye Blind) for kicking out guitarist Anthony Fredianelli who played on stage with Third Eye Blind. The night ended with Outkast putting on an insane best hits show to end the night.
