WATCH: Dramatic Rescue Of Man Pulled From Car In Colorado Floods

Rescue workers were able to save a man who was trapped in an overturned car early Thursday morning as heavy rains turned into a flash flood along Colorado's Front Range.

The man was pulled from an overflowing Rock Creek in Lafayette, Colorado in Boulder County where the National Weather Service issued a flash flood emergency. Using ropes and raft, rescue crews were able to move the upside down car partially out of the water to open a passenger door and pull the man to safety.

Flash flooding has resulted in at least three deaths, destroyed numerous homes and caused road blockages in communities impacted by the flooding.
