Bradley Cooper Is Teaming Up With Female Co-Stars For Pay Negotiations

"Modern Family" and "Friends" cast-style.

Days after Jennifer Lawrence penned an essay for Lenny newsletter on the gender pay disparity in Hollywood, her frequent co-star Bradley Cooper revealed he has been teaming up with his female co-stars to negotiate payment deals pre-production.

"I don't know where it's changing otherwise but that's something that I could do," Cooper told Reuters on Wednesday."Usually you don't talk about the financial stuff, you have people. But you know what? It's time to start doing that."

Cooper's also revealed how shocked he was to discover (after the Sony hack) how much his and Lawrence's "American Hustle" co-star Amy Adams was paid for the film.

"She worked every day on that movie and got paid nothing," Cooper said. "It's really horrible actually, it's almost embarrassing."

In her essay for Lenny, Lawrence opened up about not pushing back too hard on studio offers because she "didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled.'"

"I'm over trying to find the 'adorable' way to state my opinion and still be likable!" she wrote. "Fuck that."
