BRAG Gala: Celebrities Support Influential Black Retailers

Celebrities Support Black Retailers At Star-Studded BRAG Gala

Fashion's elite came out to honor black retailers who have changed the face of the industry at the 42nd annual BRAG Gala.

The Black Retail Action Group, a non profit organization, annual fundraising event supports their summer internship program which has served over 1000 students nationwide by connecting them with partners such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Gap, Macy's, and Bloomingdales.

Our favorite celebrities definitely know how to step out in style for a great cause.

Celebrity stylist June Ambrose looked stunning in a navy frock speckled with gold embellishments. June completed her effortlessly glam look with a smoky eye and voluminous curls. The reality TV fashionista took a break from her styling and fashion week adventures to accept a Business Innovators Award at the gala.

Beverly Johnson also went the glittery route in an elegant black sequined jumpsuit with a flared leg. The supermodel cum entrepreneur was given a Special Recognition Award at the star studded event, another great win for the icon who launched her own beauty and lifestyle collection earlier this year.

Angela Simmons shined on the red carpet in a teal body concious zippered skirt with a gorgeous pair of two toned Louis Vuitton wedges. The "Run's House" reality star sported super long and sleek highlighted locks, likely from her new hair extension line.
