Brandon Jacobs Calls Gisele Bundchen Cute, Apologizes For Telling Her To 'Shut Up'

Brandon Jacobs Apologizes

A day after controversially calling for Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen to "shut up," New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs issued an apology.

"Given the fact that it's a colleague of mine's wife, I do apologize for saying that, because I shouldn't have said that," Jacobs said Wednesday night on The Doug Gottlieb show. "It's his wife and I should respect that just as much as anyone else."

During New York's victory parade on Tuesday, Jacobs told reporters that Bundchen "just needs to continue to stay cute and shut up."

Although he apologized for telling her to "shut up," Jacobs stood by his "cute" remark.

"No question, he should take that as a compliment. If he finds something wrong with that, then that's his problem," he said.

"My husband cannot f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," the Brazilian model said.

Star receiver Wes Welker dropped a deep pass late in the fourth quarter that would have allowed the Patriots to put the game away. Deion Branch and tight end Aaron Hernandez dropped passes on New England's final drive.

It was when asked about Gisele's comments about the performance of the New England receivers that Jacobs issued the remark for which he would later sort of apologize for.
