Brandon Scott Lavergne, Murder Suspect, Could Also Be Tied To Ali Lowitzer's Disappearance

2 Murder Charges Already - Is Another In Store?

A man indicted for killing two women should be questioned about the 2010 disappearance of a 15-year-old Texas girl, according to a private investigator trying to solve the case.

Alexandria "Alli" Lowitzer vanished outside a hamburger restaurant in spring where she was waiting to pick up her first paycheck, the Advertiser reports, and Mac Sanford says there's evidence that kidnapping and homicide suspect Brandon Scott Lavergne was nearby.

Witnesses claim they saw Lowitzer talking to a man driving a white, extended cab pickup, KLFY said. A witness gave police a partial read of the man's license plate, which matches the tags of white GMC truck owned by Lavergne.

The new accusation emerged as Lavergne, 33, was due in a Louisiana court today for an evidentiary hearing on his upcoming murder trial.

Lavergne says he didn't kill Mickey Shunick, a college student whose body was found last week, and Lisa Ann Pate, a 35 year old whose body was found buried beneath boards in a field in Church Point, La.

Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty for Lavergne, who was convicted previously of aggravated sexual battery in 2000.

Shunick disappeared in May while riding her bike home in Lafayette. Surveillance footage recorded a white truck following her. A burned truck belonging to Lavergne, found in June near Houston, turned out to be the same one in the surveillance tape.
