Brandon Tate Touchdown: Bengals Returns Scores On Re-Kick After Punt Hits Scoreboard (VIDEO)

Giant Scoreboard Hurts Cowboys In Preseason Game

Having such a gigantic scoreboard at AT&T Stadium (formerly known as Cowboys Stadium, or Jerry's World) ended up hurting the Dallas Cowboys in their preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.

Dallas punter Chris Jones hit the scoreboard with a punt in the first quarter, resulting in a re-kick. On the next attempt, Cincinnati punt returner Brandon Tate made Dallas pay and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown.

"Darrin always tells us that nothing good happens for the punt team on a re-kick, and we made them pay," Tate said after the game referring to Bengals special team coordinator Darrin Simmons, per the Associated Press. "Everybody blocked it perfectly, and all I had to do was find the hole and shoot through it. Nobody really had a good shot at me."
