The young slam poets delivered a powerful performance about the discrimination and ignorance they face from outsiders, as well as within their own Muslim and Jewish religious communities, at the Brave New Voices 2013 Quarter Finals in Washington, D.C.

"We've both looked discrimination in the eye," they declare. And that's why they are using their voices to condemn hate and encourage tolerance.
