The second episode of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators aired last night and we were bombarded with even more stunning interior design, as well as ridiculous one-liners from the cast of hilarious and often neurotic decorators -- and we loved every minute of it.
The always disheveled Kathryn Ireland had to complete an almost impossible installation of an entire home in Ojai, California for a prestigious British family, but the episode wouldn't be complete without antics from her French housekeeper, Jacqueline. She apparently broke her foot--taking out the trash-- and kept Ireland busy with requests for wine from bed. The designer was still able to complete the home with minutes to spare, and the finished project was lush, layered and earthy.
Jeffrey Alan Marks and his sidekick Ross Cassidy make their season debut, as Marks allows Cassidy to take the reigns decorating model and actress Amber Valletta's bedroom. He choose a hot pink grasscloth to cover all of the walls, and we were white-knuckling it when Valetta and her "manly" husband, Chip McCaw entered for the reveal. They told the designers they were into it, but McCaw's expression have us guessing that their space may no longer be fuchsia.
Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and Mary McDonald met to discuss their new line of gorgeous tabletop wares for One Kings Lane called Martyn & Mary, which is only available on the site for a limited time now. The tease for next week's episode revealed that the pair traveled to India for design inspiration.
