Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman hasn't had it easy on "Breaking Bad," (airing Sun, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC), but that doesn't mean he won't miss him.
In the August issue of GQ, Paul opened up about beginning the final season of the critically-acclaimed AMC series, which will air in two parts.
"Now that we can see the finish line, it's bittersweet," he said. "I'm happy they're not going to stretch out the storyline, but it's also very sad that, you know, I'll never play Jesse Pinkman again."
"It's kind of hard for me to swallow," he continued. "When I first started, I just wanted to work. I wouldn't necessarily do anything, but I'd pretty much almost do anything at the very beginning. And then the more I started to work, the pickier I became, and now with this show that I'm working on now, it's just -- it's hard to say yes to projects. 'Breaking Bad,' I've never been more proud."
So what are viewers in for on Sunday night? Paul hasn't teased much, but he has admitted to some violence.
"It does involve a death, and possible deaths. Definitely people dying," he told Vulture in January, adding on , "The final season of Breaking Bad will in fact be a BLOOD bath."
The final season of "Breaking Bad" premieres this Sunday, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
