Final Season Of 'Breaking Bad' Will Air In Two Halves ... A Year Apart

The return of AMC's "Breaking Bad" is right around the corner!

The six-time Emmy-winning series starring Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn is officially headed back to AMC for a final spin ... or two.

The 16-episode season will be split into two parts, with the first premiere on Sunday, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET. Then, the final eight episodes will air in Summer 2013.

The network has also announced the debut of its new unscripted series, "Small Town Security," which premieres following "Breaking Bad's" fifth and final season premiere on Sunday, July 15 at 11 p.m. ET. The show is centered on a family-owned private security company in rural Georgia.

Additionally, "Hell On Wheels" will return for a second season on Sunday, August 12 at 9 p.m. ET. The series' second season continues its tale of a post-Civil War America, focusing on the emotional recovery of a former Confederate soldier.
