With just 16.5 seconds remaining in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 3-0 victory over the New York Islanders on Wednesday night, an unexpected fight between the goalies broke out.
Pittsburgh's Matt Cooke collided with Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, causing a few New York players to start a fight in the corner. That's when Penguins goalie Brent Johnson took off his mask, skated to the middle of the ice and challenged DiPietro to a brawl.
The goalies met in the Islanders zone and Johnson knocked out DiPietro with just one punch. Scroll down to watch the video.
