Bret Baier Signs New Fox News Contract

Add Bret Baier to the growing list of high-profile Fox News personalities to sign new long-term contracts with the network.

Fox News announced Tuesday that Baier, the host of "Special Report," will continue in that role through the 2016 elections. Baier is the lead anchor of FNC's political coverage, and its highest-rated hard news host. "Special Report" reliably places second or third in the monthly cable news ratings.

The news of Baier's deal means that Fox News has locked down its top three programs for at least four more years. Bill O'Reilly signed a similar deal in April, and Sean Hannity is also set to do so.
