Brianna Priddy, Applebee's Waitress, Serves Customer Using Her Stolen Driver's License (VIDEO)

Customer Arrested After Trying To Use Stolen ID Belonging To Waitress

When a customer at an Applebee's in Lakewood, Co., allegedly tried to use a stolen driver's license to get a drink, she got served -- but not in the way she wanted.

Turns out the driver's license belonged to the waitress taking the order.

Brianna Priddy's wallet was stolen on Feb. 13 during a night out with friends. Since then, someone had been using her identity to write hundreds of dollars in bad checks, according to the Associated Press.

Priddy got payback of sorts on Feb. 25 when a woman came in with a group, ordered a drink and handed her the stolen ID.

"But I didn't say anything," she told KUSA-TV. "I handed it back to her and said 'Sure, I'll be right back with your margarita.' [I] went straight to the phone, called the cops."

The officers came to the scene quickly and arrested the 26-year-old suspect, the Metro reported.

The woman's name has not been released because the case is still under investigation, but she faces identity theft and criminal impersonation charges and was found with drugs in her possession.
