Ex-Teacher Brianne Altice Accused Of Improper Sexual Relationship By 2nd Student

Another Student Makes Sex Allegations Against Ex-Teacher

A former Kaysville, Utah high school teacher already facing rape charges was hit with more allegations of illegal sexual contact with minors, according to new reports this week.

KSL reports that Brianne Altice, 35, is now accused of raping and performing sodomy with a 17-year-old student between April 1 and June 30 of last year.

She was already charged with raping a 16-year-old student between January and June 2013.

KSL reports:

Altice was initially charged with three counts of rape and one count of forcible sodomy, all first-degree felonies. A fourth charge of rape and a second charge of forcible sodomy, also first-degree felonies, have been added.

The former Davis High School English teacher's trial was set for next month, but it was cancelled after the new allegations emerged, according to the Salt Lake City Tribune. She has a preliminary hearing on the new charges scheduled for Friday.

The 17-year-old told police he had intercourse and oral sex once with Altice.

The 16-year-old previously accused Altice of having sex with him on multiple occasions during a six-month period. Altice allegedly confessed that she had sex with the teenager.

But the Standard Examiner reports that Altice's attorney has requested his client's confession be suppressed because it was coerced by eight to 10 officers who interrogated her at her home and refused to let her tend to her children while she spoke with them over a four-hour period.
