Brie Larson Is Hard At Work Studying For Her Role As Captain Marvel

The Oscar-winning actress, who’s set to play Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers on film, shared a photo of herself prepping for her role on Sunday. In the snap, the 26-year-old is seen reading up on some source material ― a “Captain Marvel” comic book ― while dressed in a Captain Marvel costume.

She really knows how to get into character.

It was first announced that Larson would be playing the Marvel superhero back in July during San Diego Comic-Con. Rumors that the “Room” star would get the role had been circulating the web, and when the news was officially confirmed, people couldn’t contain their excitement.

Following the announcement, Larson posted the photo below with the fitting caption, “Call me Captain Marvel.”

The highly-anticipated Captain Marvel film is slated for release on March 8, 2019.
