Brigitte Bardot Leads The Style Pack In Zebra Print (PHOTO)

Zebra Print Done Right

French fashion model, actress, singer and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot was the undisputed sex symbol of the 1960s. Her bodacious hair and bohemian style are still envied and emulated today. She could literally make anything look feminine and sexy. So far, we've seen her work a cowboy hat, wedding veil and one of the riskiest fashion statements ever: Zebra print.

Bardot was at a French airport en route to New York and then Hollywood (her first trip there) when this photo was snapped in 1965. She donned a star-worthy ensemble for the occasion: an eye-catching zebra coat with a fur trim (we're guessing it's faux) paired with her oft-worn knee-high boots and signature cat-eye makeup. It seems like it would be impossible to don this animal print without looking like an extra in "The Lion King" or landing on a worst-dressed list, but Bardot has turned us into believers. Will you try zebra print this fall?
