There is no love lost between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, who welcomed son Tripp in 2008. The two have gone their separate ways -- with Palin "smitten" with her new snowmobiler beau and Johnston marrying his other baby mama.
Palin is said to be dating professional snowmobiler Joey Junker, according to Us Weekly.
The 22-year-old single mom is "smitten" with her new love. "She really likes him! She is a quiet person, so [she] hasn't been gushing about him, but she has been texting with him a lot the past few weeks," a source tells Us Weekly. "Someone asked about her 'boyfriend,' and she turned bright red blushing! It was cute."
Palin does not necessarily have the best track record when it comes to romance. Things didn't work out with her last boyfriend, Gino. "[Bristol] has said she's at a good place in her life right now...and she wants to be cautious about the guys she allows into her life these days," a source tells Us Weekly. "She is taking it slow."
Bristol, who was planning to wed Johnston in 2008, was asked if she would ever consider being on ABC's "The Bachelorette." The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant declined, saying her season would be too boring. "It would be so boring,” she said, according to WetPaint. “Because, I don't know, I just don't think I'm that kind of character."
Johnston and Palin were engaged before she gave birth to Tripp, but broke things off in 2009. The two rekindled their romance in 2010, but split just three weeks later.
Johnston is now husband. He married girlfriend Sunny Oglesby in Alaska on Oct. 28, E! News reported. The couple welcomed daughter Breeze Beretta, named after the firearm, in September. Oglesby is a 20-year-old school teacher.
Palin told E! News she "[wishes] them the best. Tripp [now 4 years old] will be excited to hold her!"
