One of our favorite openly lesbian athletes, Brittney Griner, proposed to her girlfriend, Tulsa Shock’s Glory Johnson, this week and documented the whole experience using Instagram.
Griner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury, posted this photo with the following caption: “Last Night was a Night to Remember. I became the happiest person on this earth! (almost pass out but when that one word came out I came back to life) Me and my baby @missvol25 are in it for Life."
Adorable! We couldn't be happier for these two. Johnson also shared the news through her own Instagram by posting this picture with the caption, "What I get to wake up to @brittneygriner #LoveMakesYouDoTheCraziestThings.”
