Broadway Theatergoer Jumps On Stage To Charge Phone -- In Fake Outlet

You charge up your battery power, but it just won't increase your brain power.

A man at a Broadway show desperately needed to plug in his phone climbed onstage before a recent performance to connect his device to the nearest outlet, according to Playbill. Unfortunately, that power outlet was a part of the set, and very much fake.

The incident happened at a July 2 performance of "Hand to God" at the Booth Theater.

Another audience member, Chris York, described the debacle in a Facebook post:
