Sex tapes run in the Kardashian family, apparently. At least Kris and Bruce -- who admitted to making one in the early '90s on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" summer finale -- had the sense to erase theirs immediately after filming it. That didn't stop Kourtney and Scott from trying to track it down. And when that didn't work, they did the next best thing. They recreated it.
The pair took on the roles of Bruce and Kris, donning wigs and costumes to complete the illusion. When Rob saw it, he said that Kourtney looked just like a younger Kris, so it was just about perfect. Scott then had his friend work some video magic to dub Kris and Bruce's actual voices into the fake video using bits of their dialogue from other old home videos.
Kourtney said she wanted to get Bruce back for all the judgment he passes on everyone else, and she absolutely did. Bruce thought the tape was the real deal when they showed it to him and he immediately started to freak out.
“No, no, no, no. I don’t think it’s funny," he said as everyone else laughed. Then, he ran away, but Kourtney found him and came clean about the prank. Bruce said that he'd learned his lesson. He won't be so judgmental in the future. As he put it, who is he to talk anyway -- he had six children by three different women in a decade.
Hollywood Life's Chloe Melas found the whole thing hilarious, but E! Online's Andy Neuenschwander said he put the fake tape on the list of "things we can't unsee." We're just grateful that it was a fake sex tape and the real one can remain a thing we hope to never see.
