Bruno Mars' 'Carpool Karaoke' Was A Funk-tastic Ride

Thanks for the lift!

We already knew that Bruno Mars could dazzle the Super Bowl halftime show. It just stands to reason that he could rock the front seat of a car.

In a “Carpool Karaoke” segment with host James Corden on “The Late Late Show” Tuesday, Mars’ high energy fueled the ride.

The two sang “Uptown Funk,” “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Grenade” before veering off into new material like “24K Magic.”

And we got to know Mars a little better. The singer told Corden all he needs in his dressing room are booze, water and wet wipes ― and that he knew he wanted to be a performer at age 4 when he began impersonating Elvis Presley.

Might as well start with “the King” if you want to be one, Bruno.
