Bryan Fischer Of American Family Association: 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Repeal Will Increase Pedophilia

Anti-Gay Pundit: DADT Repeal Will Lead To Pedophilia In The Military

The first academic study of the U.S. military's new open-service policy may have found no evidence of negative consequences since last year's repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," but one prominent anti-gay pundit is convinced otherwise.

On an installment of his "Focal Point" radio show last week, the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer cited the arrest of a protocol officer for allegedly trying to entice a 17-year-old boy into sexual activity in Florida as evidence that we can "expect to see more instances of pedophilia" in the military following the DADT repeal, Right Wing Watch reports.

Deeming the officer "a Jerry Sandusky type," Fischer notes, "We've talked about the fact that homosexuals commit sex crimes against children at about 10 times the rate of the heterosexual population...there's this proclivity toward the abuse of children."

He goes on to note that since gay U.S. military personnel are now "openly serve and they can't be disciplined in any way," we can "expect to see a lot more" pedophilia.

As the 2012 U.S. presidential election draws near, one thing we can definitely count on seeing a lot more of is Fischer himself. In recent weeks, the pundit has slammed Berkeley's Bisexual Pride Day, offered up his thoughts on both Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and the Obama administration, and even called for an "underground railroad" that would effectively abduct children from same-sex parents.
