The Fight Against Homosexuality Is The 'Battle Of Our Time,' Bryan Fischer Claims

Fight Against Gay Rights Is The 'Battle Of Our Time,' According To This Pundit

The American Family Association 's Bryan Fischer called the fight against sexuality the defining "battle of our time" in a heated "Focal Point" broadcast this week.

As Right Wing Watch first reported, Fischer declared, "America's future is gonna be determined by one thing, and one thing only, and that is whether the forces of light or darkness will prevail in the battle for special rights" based on "sexually deviant behavior."

He then added, "Everywhere that Big Gay gains ground, Christ is forced into retreat."

Fischer, whose opposition to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community is well-established, recently blasted Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's performance of "Same Love" on the 2014 Grammy Awards, which featured 33 couples (both straight and gay) tying the knot onstage.

"If you care about children, this thing ought to appall you because gay marriage is bad for children," he said at the time. "In fact, same-sex parenting ... is a form of child abuse."
