Bryan Fischer: Gay Activists 'Are Like Leeches'

Gay Activists 'Are Like Leeches,' Pundit Claims

The American Family Association 's Bryan Fischer is at it again.

Fischer, who has been vocal in his opposition to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, pointed to recent efforts amongst New York activists against plans to open Chick-fil-A franchises in the city, according to Right Wing Watch. Those LGBT rights advocates, he said, "are like leeches."

"The point here is that with the homosexual lobby, you cannot ever give them enough. Don't even try," Fischer said in a radio broadcast. "There's no point in offering them some kind of appeasement in the hopes that they will leave you alone, that they will leave you in peace. It won't work."

Earlier this month, Fischer slammed the ABC series "Modern Family" as "poison" because of its portrayal of same-sex relationships.

Prior to that, he expressed anger over the same-sex couples who tied the knot during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's performance of "Same Love," featuring appearances by Queen Latifah and Madonna, on the 2014 Grammy Awards.

"If you care about children, this thing ought to appall you because gay marriage is bad for children," Fischer said. "In fact, same-sex parenting ... is a form of child abuse."
