No One Wants To 'Visualize' Homosexuality 'Because It Is Disgusting,' Pundit Claims

Homosexuality " causes an inner revulsion ," at least according to Bryan Fischer.

As Right Wing Watch first reported, the American Family Association pundit offered harsh words for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community when he took to the airwaves once again this week.

"Homosexual behavior is an abomination to God," he says in the clip. "When God sees it, it causes him to recoil."

He went on to note, "When we think about the actual act of homosexuality, we have exactly the same reaction. Most people think about that, they don't want to think about that, they don't want to visualize it because it is disgusting."

Fischer, whose opposition to LGBT causes is well-established, has had a busy summer. Earlier this week, he argued that gays were "not qualified to hold public office," responding to national controversy over Texas Governor Rick Perry's indictment over efforts to force Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg, who is openly gay, to resign from office after a drunk-driving arrest.

Last month, Fischer slammed LGBT rights advocates as "belligerent" and "intolerant bullies" who represented a "tiny little minority" of the U.S. population, and deemed Burger King's "Proud Whopper" campaign a "bonehead move from a marketing standpoint."

"When people sit down to eat a hamburger, the last thing they want to be thinking about is two guys having sex," Fischer noted at the time.
