The best part of VMA weekend is when it hits your city. This past Saturday night the Bud Light Party culminated its 13-city tour hosting the Convention of all conventions, with Big Sean, DJ Khaled, G-Eazy and DNCE during MTV VMA weekend. It was the perfect precursor to one of the best VMA’s in history.

The evening was hosted by Power 105.1’s Angela Yi and actor Michael Pena at the Time Square Playstation Theater. Skating Aratas kicked off the night with an electrifying dance routine to get the crowd hype before Yi and Pena introduced DNCE to hit the stage. In between sets DJ ProStyle spun some of the biggest hip-hop and pop tracks.

G- Eazy then sent the crowd into a frenzy with his hits “Me, Myself and I,” “Order More,” and “Let’s Get Lost.” Angela Yi then stepped out and invited the crowd to “raise one to right now” and toast to the night with Bud Lights in hand.

Shortly after, Big Sean stepped out and lit the stage ablaze calling the fans to rap along to “Beware,” “Clique,” and “IDFWY.” And just when fans thought it couldn’t get any better DJ Khaled joined the stage, bags in tow, and to talk some “cloth talk” with the crowd and play his biggest club bangers.
