BUILD Series Exclusive: Jon Hamm and Tina Fey Saw Sully Sullenberger Plane Moments Before Hudson Landing

NEW YORK - Jon Hamm stopped by BUILD Series this morning to discuss his new movie Keeping Up With The Joneses with Ricky Camilleri. An ordinary suburban couple (Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher) finds it's not easy keeping up with the Joneses (Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot) - their impossibly gorgeous and ultra-sophisticated new neighbors - especially when they discover that Mr. and Mrs. "Jones" are covert operatives. Hamm had lots to say - especially when it came to Tina Fey.

"Here is a very interesting story that I don't know if anybody has ever heard about shooting 30 Rock. The day Sully Sullenberger landed the plane on the Hudson River..."

"We were shooting on the Upper West Side and we had just broken for lunch and Tina and I. We're driving west on whatever street. We're going like 'that plane seems pretty low!' We were like 'So, What just happened? I guess we'll go eat lunch. I'm sure if it's anything bad we'll hear about it, right?' So we come back from lunch and they're like 'you know a plane just landed in the Hudson, right?'"

"It was also the day they got picked up for a fourth season so everybody was like 'the plane didn't crash! yay!' and 'also, we got picked up for a fourth season! yay!'"
