Wealthy Developer Cleared Of Rape, Claiming He 'Fell' On 18-Year-Old Guest

"Nothing ever happened, between me and this girl. Nothing ever happened."

A wealthy developer in London has been cleared of rape after telling the court he may have accidentally penetrated the 18-year-old woman when he fell on her, according to multiple reports.

The jury took just 30 minutes to arrive at the verdict on Tuesday in Southwark Crown Court.

According to testimony noted by The Times, Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, invited two women back to his London apartment for drinks in August 2014. He had sex with a 24-year-old woman in his bedroom and says his penis might have been poking out of his underwear when he slipped on top of his 18-year-old guest in the living room. That could explain traces of his DNA found in her vagina, his defense team argued.

But the woman accused Abdulaziz of forcing himself on her as she tried to sleep, the International Business Times wrote.

The defendant countered that he was trying to wake her to offer her a shirt or a taxi ride home, but that she pulled him by the back of his head over her and placed his hand between her legs. He then stumbled directly onto her, saying his hand may have had his semen on it from the previous encounter or that he may have transmitted the semen from his still partially erect penis, reports say.

"I’m fragile," he said, per the Telegraph. "I fell down but nothing ever happened, between me and this girl. Nothing ever happened."
