Busy Philipps Takes Her Elf On The Shelf Creations To A New Level

The actress' little elves are having a lot of fun this holiday season!

Actress and mom Busy Philipps' elaborate Elf on the Shelf creations are yet another example of the popular holiday trend that's taking the country by storm.

Philipps posted pictures of her little elves placed throughout her home to her Instagram and Twitter accounts -- and boy are these elves busy.

This year, Philipps' elves have done typical housework like gardening, decorating and even helping with construction on Philipps' home.

But it hasn't been all work and no play -- the elves made time to kick back at the beach, tan and attend a party for the last night of Hanukkah.

Philipps has participated in the Elf on the Shelf trend in previous years and has even maintained certain traditions for the elves.

In an Instagram post published two weeks ago, Philipps noted that her elves were participating in their "4th annual Elf Races."

Other celebrity parents like Kourtney Kardashian and Sarah Michelle Gellar have joined in on the elf fun.

Gellar, married to Freddie Prinze Jr., excited fans on Instagram yesterday when she posted a picture of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Chico and the Man"-themed lunch boxes.

Freddie Prinze Jr.'s father, the late Freddie Prinze, played Chico Rodriguez on "Chico and the Man" in the '70s.
