California, are you ready?

Below you can find key information about your state on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

Closing time for California polls is 8 p.m. Pacific Time; opening time is 7 a.m. Pacific Time.

The winner of California collects 55 electoral votes in the presidential race, more than any other state. Barack Obama won California in 2008 with 60.9 percent of the vote.

Obama has a strong lead in the state going into Election Day, according to polls.
