'Call Of The Wildman': Catching Boa Constrictor With Bare Hands

Ernie "Turtleman" Brown, Jr. is very good at what he does, even if he uses unorthodox methods to accomplish his goals. He runs his own business, taking care of what he dubs "live nuisance-animals." That was certainly the case on this week's "Call of the Wildman" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on Animal Planet), though nuisance may be underselling it a bit.

Turtleman was called into a home because a pet boa constrictor had outgrown its habitat and escaped into the house. The family was understandably concerned that the reptile might attack their other pets, or even the children.

He found the creature hiding out under a bed, and immediately saw how dangerous a situation he had before him. So of course, he determined he'd need to set himself up as bait. So he used friction to heat up his arms, which helped him lure the snake into constricting around them.

The method may have put him in the vice-like grip of certain doom, but Turtleman remained calm and regained control of the situation, as well as the boa constrictor.

See what Turtleman faces next as "Call of the Wildman" continues Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Animal Planet.
