Calling Student Journalists: Win A Trip To Poland

Calling Student Journalists: Win A Trip To Poland

Each year, Microsoft holds a worldwide competition for student innovation in technology called the Imagine Cup. Last year, as Bill Gates outlined on his blog, more than 300,000 students from more than 140 countries participated, culminating in an exciting finals round in Cairo -- and making it one of the most significant scientific contests that exists.

This year, the competition is in Poland -- and YOU could go cover it for HuffPost College. Microsoft will be sending one student journalist to Warsaw from July 3-8 to report on the innovations in motion. The journalist's work will be featured right here on this site.

So how do you win? The premise is simple. Pitch yourself. Why are you the best journalist to cover Imagine Cup? What skills, traits and experiences set you apart from the rest?

To qualify:

1) Like HuffPost College on Facebook!

2) Send us your pitch!

Thanks so much for entering! We will notify all finalists by 9 a.m. on June 16.

For more information on Imagine Cup, check out Microsoft's page on the contest.
