A Heartbreaking Look At The Struggle Of Cambodia's LGBT Sex Worker Community

Many profiled in "Lives Under The Red Light" have experienced assault and gang rape.

A eye-opening documentary short takes a look at the harsh reality for Cambodia's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. 

The film, "Lives Under The Red Light," profiles a number of LGBT sex workers in Phnom Penh. As the clip above shows, many of whom have experienced intense discrimination, assault and even gang rape.

It's a sobering reminder that the fight for queer equality around the world is not over.
