Camila Cabello just teased her forthcoming album in a major way.

After leaving Fifth Harmony in December, Cabello promised to focus on her own music in 2017. The “Bad Things” singer has only been a solo artist for a little more than three months, but the clamor for Cabello’s new music has already reached a dull roar.

In a new interview with Fault Magazine, Cabello lays out her timeline for releasing her first solo album. Lucky for fans, it looks like we won’t have long to wait.

“I hope to release my first few songs before summer,” Cabello told Fault, “and then go from there and hopefully an album in the fall.”

When asked if she could sum up the album in three words, Cabello answered in four: “Me in sound form.”

Now this sounds like an album we can get behind.

Cabello also opened up about her difficult decision to leave Fifth Harmony behind.

“I think the scariest part about it is leaving a successful project to pursue a new dream with a path full of questions of self-discovery that only you can answer,” Cabello said. “But even when I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my former group, expressing myself as an artist became a necessity.”

We can’t wait to see how Cabello expresses herself in her new solo journey. Don’t mind us, we’ll just be counting down the days until this album drops.
