Candy Crowley: CNN's Hillary Clinton Movie Will 'Make Life More Difficult' (VIDEO)

Candy Crowley Speaks Out Against CNN's Hillary Movie

In the past few days, multiple people at NBC News have spoken out against NBC's upcoming Hillary Clinton miniseries. But it seems like some people at CNN aren't happy about their network's Clinton project either. (Republican National Committee chair Reince Priebus has threatened to ban both NBC and CNN from the GOP's debates if the projects go forward.)

Exhibit A: Candy Crowley, who told Politico on Friday that the documentary CNN Films has commissioned would "make life more difficult." She continued:

"You can say all you want, this is a commissioned documentary from people who are not in the employ of CNN. It's not me. It's not Wolf Blitzer. It's not John King. It's an outside documentary group. But we're with CNN and so this is not a story where the nuances are well-received, particularly by Republicans."

Crowley is scheduled to interview Priebus on her CNN show Sunday. She would know something about getting on the wrong side of the Republican Party, thanks to her controversial back-and-forth with Mitt Romney during a 2012 debate.
