The rally attendees were protesting the decision not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson for killing unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

KSTP (the station that brought us #pointergate) reports that the woman was taken to a hospital and her injuries were not life-threatening.

Several protesters jumped on the hood of the driver's car and he eventually came to a stop. He was questioned by police, but the latest reports say he has not been arrested.

Minneapolis has its own racially-tinged law enforcement issues, as was evidenced by a recent ACLU of Minnesota report that found a jarring racial disparity in arrests for minor offenses.

The report found that a black person was 8.86 times more likely to be arrested than a white person for disorderly conduct, 7.54 times more likely to be arrested for vagrancy and 11.5 times more likely to be arrested for marijuana possession.
