Cara Delevingne White Powder: Model Drops Suspicious-Looking Accessory

LOOK: What Powder Is Cara Packing?

If you follow fashion even a little bit, you'll probably recognize catwalker/cover girl Cara Delevingne. But do you recognize her controversial weekend accessory? Photographers caught the goofy 20-year-old party girl as a bag of suspicious white powder fell from her purse on Saturday evening.

The tabloids are crying "cocaine," although the contents of the baggie have not yet been confirmed. Regardless of what the pouch actually contained, a scandal such as this one could definitely hurt Cara's career. She's the face of H&M's Divided line, and the company is notoriously strict about the image their models project. As the brand told the Daily Mail, H&M has a "zero tolerance policy" toward drugs: "Our team will evaluate the evidence over the next few days. If the story is true, then we will take action."

The Sun spoke to one of the model's friends, who reportedly said, "Cara’s the biggest name in fashion right now. But she’s also become a massive name on the party circuit -- just like Kate." The Kate to which the unnamed source compares Cara is, of course, Kate Moss, a fellow British model who handled a famous cocaine scandal of her own. As a result, H&M dropped Moss from their roster.

Check out the photos at the Sun -- we'll leave it to you to speculate about what Cara was carrying. We have reached out to H&M for comment and will update when we hear back. Should a model's, ahem, extracurricular activities affect her professional contracts?
