Carlos Beltran Ties Babe Ruth With 15 Career Postseason Home Runs (VIDEO)

WATCH: Carlos Beltran Ties Babe Ruth With Latest Playoff Homer

If Carlos Beltran does not officially own October yet then he may simply be leasing with the option to buy.

In his second at-bat of the 2013 MLB postseason, the 36-year-old, switch-hitter crushed a three-run home run into the second deck at Busch Stadium off Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher A.J. Burnett. The towering 443-foot drive was the 15th career postseason home run for Beltran and moved him into a tie with Babe Ruth for eighth place on the all-time playoff homer list.

The deep drive to right-field staked the Cardinals to an early 3-0 lead over the Pirates in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.
