Kicker Carson Wiggs has kicked some long field goals at Purdue. He happened to kick the longest field goal of his career in the middle of Saturday's spring game.
At the end of the first half, Wiggs crushed the ball and made a field goal from 67 yards out, causing his teammates to rush the field and celebrate as they went into the locker room. Matt Hinton of Dr. Saturday pointed out that had it been a real game, the kick would have tied a Division I record.
