'Castle' Bomb Episode Rescheduled On ABC Following Boston Bombing

ABC has rescheduled an episode of "Castle" featuring a bomb storyline, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Still" featured Beckett (Stana Katic) stepping on a pressure sensitive bomb. Her team searches for a way to disarm the explosive and Castle (Nathan Fillion) argues with Beckett about who fell for whom first in an effort to distract her from the life-threatening situation.

Series star Katic tweeted about the bomb-centric "Castle" episode as well.

"Castle's" bomb episode, which was originally scheduled to air on April 22, will now air the following week. It will be swapped with "The Squab and the Quail," which was originally scheduled to air on April 29. In that episode, Beckett is assigned to protect a billionaire whose life is in danger.

The promo for "Castle's" bomb episode had already been released:

Following the events at the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15, networks have been carefully watching their programming. Fox pulled an episode of "Family Guy" from rotation and online viewing that depicted Peter Griffin hitting marathoners with his car after YouTube users manipulated the video. NBC shifted its schedule to broadcast a one-hour NBC News report at 10 p.m. ET on Monday, April 15, pushing "Revolution" off its schedule and subsequently delaying the Season 1 finale.

"Castle" airs Mondays, 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
