Cat Cora Mugshot: Chef Strikes Pretty Pose After DUI Arrest (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Chef Strikes Pretty Pose After DUI Arrest

Celebrity chef Cat Cora might have learned a valuable lesson after her DUI arrest last month, but it's her mugshot that's getting the most attention.

Cora's mugshot was released online and quickly made headlines because of how good she looked, appearing fresh-faced and with perfectly-styled hair.

TMZ notes that although the celebrity chef was arrested on June 17, she left the police station hours later and did not take a mugshot at the time. She returned on June 28 to take her "make up" photo, which explains why she looks far better in her mugshot than some other celebrities.

But Cora is not taking the situation lightly.

"I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable," Cora said in a statement obtained by Access Hollywood. "I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again."

Cora, who is the co-host of Bravo's "Around the World in 80 Plates," was arrested on June 17 in Santa Barbara, Calif., after she rear-ended a vehicle and called the people in the other car "nerds," according to TMZ.

The accident happened at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of State and La Cumbre, according to the Santa Barbara Independent. Cora hit a BMW stopped at a crosswalk line with her Chevy Tahoe at a low speed. No one was hurt in the accident.

Police later determined that Cora's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit, the Independent reported.

Cora has been featured on the Food Network's "Iron Chef" and she has written multiple cookbooks. She is raising four children with her longtime partner, Jennifer Cora, in Santa Barbara.
